Intel logo Today, we are happy to announce the birth of a partnership between FAH-Addict and Intel Corporation, which will enable us to provide more thorough and up-to-date tests of new hardware from the company.

Indeed, we have just received a pair of Xeon L5640s, a low-power version of the latest Intel hexcores. The processors run at a base frequency of 2.25 GHz per core, have a 60W TDP and require a dual processor motherboard.

In the coming days, we will provide a more detailed comparison between these processors and a pair of X5560s. Until then, we leave you with some pictures of these new toys, which should grace one of our test motherboards very soon!

The team once again thanks Intel France for their generosity in providing this hardware to us free of charge.
