It has emerged that Intel is planning to launch a third processor in the Clarkdale-based Core i3 range. The processor is the Core i3 550, and as well as being manufactured on a 32nm process, will feature the following:- a 3.2GHz clock speed
- 2x 256Kb L2 cache
- 4Mb L3 cache
- DDR3 1333 RAM support
- 2x core with four threads
- 733MHz IGP
The i3 550 will replace the i3 540 as of Q2 2010, and is set to be priced at around $130USD.
