AMD to release three hex-cores in Q2 2010
AMD is set to release three AM3-socket hex-core processors in Q2 2010, though despite operating on the same specification, the TDP will vary from CPU to CPU.

The front-runner is the Phenom II X6 1075T, and will run at a clock speed of 2.8GHz and a TDP of 125W. It - as with all four processors - will also feature 6x 512Kb L2 and 6Mb L3 cache. It is rumoured that a faster version will be available with a TDP of 140W, bringing the number of processors released to four, however this has not yet been confirmed.

The Phenom II X6 1055T follows, clocked at 2.6GHz, and will be available in 125W and 95W variants. Following up on the 1055T is the Phenom II X6 1035T, the lightest of the set. It will be clocked at 2.4GHz, and will have a TDP of 95W.
