Yep ... it doesn't work there either! :(

Before we declare the problem identified,

Are you running the console client?
What command string are you using to launch gpu folding?
What versions are fahcore_11.exe and fahcore_14.exe?

edit:
And, what level drivers are you running? Have you tried upgrading the drivers?

2nd edit:
Have you tried this with no smp folding going on?

+1 with weedacres, what are your drivers ?
Try news ones.

What is the exact model of 9600 GT ?
Are the mosfets cooled or naked ?

Because when a gpu is failing, you can be sure that's them and not the gpu itself which are dying.

And what's the exact model of PSU ?
Because today 750w labeled on the side of a PSU do not mean that the PSU can effectively support such a load.

A lot of PSU widely used are simply pieces of shit in your case. :(

No others symptoms for the cards ?
Artifacts under stress tools (ATItool, OCCT GPU, furmark etc... ) by example.

Hi Guys ...

Right .... numbers ...

a1) Yes, Client Console
a2i) fah6.exe -gpu 0
from within "C:\Users\admin\AppData\Roaming\FAH GPU 0"
a2ii) fah6.exe -gpu 1
from within "C:\Users\admin\AppData\Roaming\FAH GPU 1"
a3i) fahcore_11.exe ...
[09:58:27] Folding@Home GPU Core - Beta
[09:58:27] Version 1.19 (Mon Nov 3 09:34:13 PST 2008)
a3ii) fahcore_14.exe ... don't have one yet
a4) 191.07
a5) yes, makes no difference

b1) 2x Asus EN9600GT Silent ( passive cooling )
b2) under the radiator ... but not in contact with it.
b3) Thermaltake W0106Rb 700W - sorry 700 not 750 :( still should be enough.
b4) The cards work fine otherwise. No artifacts, no other problems, ran memtestG80 over and over again, also ran VideoCardStabilityTest

8)

Ok, a couple of things.
1. The strong recommendation for console gpu clients on both Vista and Win 7 is to run them in discrete folders that are not in one of the program files folders. For example, something like C:\GPU0 and C:\GPU1.

2. The current version of FahCore_11.exe is 1.31, not 1.19. You can get it here:
http://www.stanford.edu/~friedrim/FahCore_11.exe or it might automatically download if you delete FahCore_11.exe.

191.07 is a good driver as far as I know. I ran it on Win 7 before upgrading to XP.

I'd give both 1 & 2 a try and see what happens.

D'Oh .... done both ... .same result :(

I'm just gonna have to accept that it's the cards that're rogered.

It'd still be interesting to find out what's different about those projects that stop them running.

Yeah, I think you're right. A good excuse to get some faster cards.
Good luck

Naaaaa, no such luck ... these cards are still under warentee ...

Means that I have to send the cards back on RMA and get them replaced ...

I'll be without my dev PC for however long. That's the problem with living in a country that you didn't buy your hardware from ... gonna take a couple of weeks there ... and a couple of weeks back ... I don't trust the spanish postal system.

Hey ho ... C'est la vie.
