So i just stared running it and i used the overclocks recommended in the review of the card here,(i don't know anything about nvidia cards) and i got it through half of a wu and then folding@home serious error etc. So what are the clocks i should be useing?
Well ... no card is equal regarding overclocking (different chip, different components, different cooling ...), so you can't use any value as a recommendation. But since your card doesn't seem to support the values we got, the only thing you can do is to slowly reduce them until you can reach rock solid stability ...
After the review, since the card was a dedicated folder, I didn't need to overclock memory and core, so I set them to stock values, unlinked the shaders and pushed them to 1700 MHz. It was stable on this card, but it might not be on any other one

I'm running it at all stock, with shaders at 1470mhz 1700mhz seems high but I'm going to start pushing it high if that is a reasonable overclock
hootis:
I run my GT240 at 1665 shaders [will actually do 1700 OK] - with the core@ 645 and memory at 1730; max. temp kept below 63C, in a room ambient of 19C. I don't touch the voltage settings.
A good card, and stable -producing 5000+ ppd at these clock rates on a mildly overclocked P4 CPU, 2.66 [ AsRock Conroe M'Bd].. also running an 8400GS [ PCI ] + a CPU client ,to keep case air flow up -via the PSU fan, running every 3 mins, for a short while!
PS: Make sure GPU has good thermal compound installed!
