GF110 might just be a GF100 with all the SPU's enabled plus GF104 architectural enhancements.
The only thing that really bothers me about consumer Fermi's is that nVidia intentionally limited double precision performance.
If F@h ever took advantage of DP on GPU's, nVidia cards would perform terribly.

What Nvidia will probably do with GF110 is enable all SPs, disable HPC features (like with GF104) and get a very good gaming card which is less good at F@H. They can then sell more Tesla cards with all of these features enabled, as well as ECC support and everything

ATI GPUs have DP support. Only 5700 series and 6800 series doesn't have it enabled.

I have folded on my 5870 but I have not seen any need for the DP support.

New AMD client needed! The current one is 2 years old and was desigened for HD 3000-series of cards (320 SPs).
For an example: HD 5870 has 1600 SPs - with full client support they could enventually do some 22,000+ PPD.
