Right now at Newegg.com they're selling GT 240's at normal prices, but with nice big rebates the prices become:

512MB GDDR3 @ $60 (1 Zotac)
512MB GDDR5 + 1G GDDR3 @ $65 (1 Zotac, EVGA has 2 of each)

There are others of course, but these are the best value, and also come with Street Fighter 4 and PowerDirector 8 - which is pretty expensive and uses CUDA.

Not trying to advertise for anyone, but if I had the spare cash, I'd pick up at least one, probably two though because these cards are powered entirely through the mobo. I DON'T have the spare cash, so I'm counting on someone else to make me jealous.

With only 96 SP, I wouldn't expect high PPD out of these. The lowest gpus I'm running right now are 8800 GTS 512's with 128 SP.

all depends on the shader clock.
@ stock about 3.5k, while overclocked they can approach 5k.
one thing that i like about these cards is their power efficiency.
i used the antec power calculator and 2 gt240's use about the same power as one 88/9800 series card.
