Has anyone managed to run F@H on the NVIDIA ION yet?

Does anyone know if it have enough "Umph" to complete any of the GPU projects in time?

If so what's it's expected PPD?

:)

I tried to run Linux SMP client on an Atom 330 (dual core, 1.6 GHz) and it produced an honorable 950 PPD. I don't know the PPD on Windows SMP client.

I've seen some reports of about 700 PPD form the GPU of the ION platform (9400m) ... I think it's enough to make the deadlines.

Hi,

Well, yes ... I have been running on an ASROCK 330 ION , so the comments about the Atom are interesting - though not the question.

I'm running under Vista 64 on it - and so far ... I've NOT been able to get the NVIDIA GPU client running at all - even after downloading the latest drivers.

As for the Windows SMP client - I don't seem to get more that 400ppd out of that and it's NOT enough power to complete either the preferred (587ppd required) or the final (440ppd required) deadlines on SMP Gromacs P2653.

Any suggestions on what to do ( other than drop Vista over Linux )?

:)
